Strategic creative. Not just a designer.

There's a version of a design portfolio that's just pretty pictures. This isn't that.

Janet Broesch is a brand designer and creative director with 30+ years of experience building brands that actually work — for some of the biggest companies in the world, and now for the small businesses that need that thinking most.

The career started in Chicago. Thirty years at top agencies, working as a creative director on national campaigns for COVERGIRL, Heineken, P&G, Beam/Suntory, and others. Branding, packaging, advertising, merchandising — the full creative picture, at scale, for clients who expected it to be right.

Then came the pivot. A move to Berlin, Wisconsin. The gutting and rebuilding of a Victorian house into The House on Park, a boutique B&B. The co-founding of The Art Bar. The building of a design practice on her own terms, for clients she actually wanted to work with.

Today Janet works with small business owners and hospitality brands across the US — remotely, personally, and with the same strategic rigor she brought to every project in Chicago. The difference is she now understands her clients from the inside. She knows what it's like to care about every detail of a guest's experience, to make a hundred decisions a week with no team behind you, to want your brand to be as good as your actual business.

That's the work. Strategy first. Design that earns its place. A creative partner who's genuinely invested in getting it right.
