I left my full time advertising job a few years back to CREATE my ideal life.
The first pretty big step was to move from Chicago, IL to a small town in Wisconsin, buy an old, historic victorian home and open an artsy B&B. The dream was to have interesting people come to my space and for me to do freelance designing from home. Two businesses, one place.
The B&B looks fabulous and runs smoothly! And now I’d love the opportunity to work as part of a team again - big ideas, lots of possibilities with collaborative beings! I’d love to talk!
Painting, Patterns
& Products. Oh My!
Home, as a business and my office, has prompted me to dive deeper into the things I love – design, product creation and painting. Empty wall? Start a series of paintings. Cats climbing on the shelves? Make them their own great looking artsy furniture. Can’t find the perfect sheets or shower curtain for the guest rooms? Design them myself!
It has been wonderful to pay more attention to these areas of creativity!
