Beautiful porch art: the tray, pot & plants create a masterpiece!

I love my plants and I love to make, paint, draw and build anything that showcases them in all their glory! These trays came about because some of my plants are getting so large that I needed to purchase some sort of plant stand with wheels in order to move them around easier.

Having done a bit of ‘searching’ for wheeled plant trays, I didn’t come across anything that I loved or if I loved it they were a bit pricey and I didn’t want to fork over the dollars. Instead, I decided to see if I could make some more inexpensively with wood, wheels and paint. It could also be fun and unique, I can create exactly what I need size, color and design. Win. Win. Win!

My inspiration for the ones included in this post are Mexican Talavera Tiles. The sizes are 12” rounds (above), 18” round for blue and white and 15” round for the sun/moon.

The 3 below ended up being Xmas 2022 presents for my favorite plant ladies, each with the patterns and colors that reflect their styles and homes. With the addition of their plants the masterpiece is final!

If your a crazy plant person and also creatively inclined, I highly recommend creating your own masterpieces to add to your favorite plants. The largest round w/wheels probably costs roughly $11. (keep your eye out for sales on the materials!)
