The Berlin Library steps turned into the bindings of favorite books was the idea of the library director Chris Kalupa. She shared the idea with me a few years ago and hoped I would be interested in painting them. COVID happened and other things got in the way for a year or so and we finally made it happen in the summer of 2023. (Thanks so much Chris, what a great project!)
