HOOT’NANNY’S
According to the Dictionary: A "hootenanny" is an informal gathering with folk music and sometimes dancing.
Well that’s about right…although all genres of music is heard here! A very north-woods-cabin-feeling bar, Hoot’Nanny’s was established in Berlin, WI in the Spring of 2022. The target market is 20 somethings at night and the old neighborhood men in the late afternoons.
The idea for the logo started out from an old cartoon, a favorite of the owners - The Farm of Tomorrow by Tex Avery, circa 1954.
The ‘Are you kidding me here?’ expression works well with the personality they were going for at the bar. After a few rounds with the illustrator, the Hoot’Nanny’s Goat was approved…and I’m sure soon to be legendary!
Next we created an alt version of the logo for women’s tees!

A friend of the owners turned the Hoot’Nanny’s Goat into 3-dimensional rusty metal art and it sits on the roof overlooking main street
